Teodora has been part of the team since 2018, after completing CINS's investigative journalist training. She specializes in working with large datasets, databases, and visualizations. Teodora was part of a team that created a database of nearly 2,800 proceedings initiated by Serbia's Anti-Corruption Agency against Serbian public officials. The database was shortlisted for the GEN Data Journalism Award in the Open Data category, marking the first case of Serbian journalists releasing data through "open source" code. She later led CINS' team in creating the database "How Much Does an MP Cost" regarding expenses incurred by members of parliament – and the "Party Coffers" database that keeps track of income and expenses of political parties and citizen groups in Serbia. After Teodora's engagement at CINS for several years, CINS received an invitation to join the European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet), making CINS the first member from a non-EU country. The most frequent topics covered by Teodora include corruption, political party financing, gender-based violence, and issues faced by “ordinary” people. In 2023, she was among the top 12 young journalists in 59 countries worldwide, as she was shortlisted for Young Journalist Award 2023 by Thomson Foundation. In 2022, she received the "Marina Kovačev" Award for best young journalist. She won the second EU Investigative Journalism Award in 2023 as part of CINS's team, and the first media award in tolerance from the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality. In 2024, Teodora was part of the team that received the 2024 Ethical Journalism Award presented by Article19, and the third prize of "Dejan Anastasijević" award for investigative journalism, as well as the audience award for the undercover story on voter manipulation, vote buying, and the non-transparent financing of the ruling party. Over the years, she has participated in numerous domestic and international training sessions related to investigative journalism, as well as data collection, analysis, and visualization. Today, Teodora provides trainings in advanced Internet search techniques, use of open databases, handling large datasets, and data visualization. She is the co-author of a databases manual and a series of video tutorials on working with large datasets.
