Jovana Tomić has been with CINS since the start of 2020. Having covered current events for several years, she is now part of the podcast team, where she works on the "Glasna žica" and "Tragovi" podcasts, at the same time first narrative and investigative podcasts in Serbia. Prior to her appointment at CINS, she worked at the online editorial office of the daily newspaper Danas for two years. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences and went on to attend CINS' School of Investigative Journalism. Among other awards, Jovana won the "Marina Kovačev" award for best young journalist in 2020, the first media award for tolerance presented by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, and the special recognition award under "Dejan Anastasijević" award for investigative journalism in 2024, for the podcast series "Tragovi" season "Evil hour" covering the two massacres that shook Serbia in 2023.
