Help us uncover the facts about Serbia that are being kept silent

Corruption is funded from your pocket. We are funded by your trust.

Serbia is currently far from a healthy democratic society. Billions of euros are being spent non-transparently and irresponsibly, corruption is an everyday reality, and the media blackout obscures the true picture of the state of our society.

CINS is one of the few media outlets in Serbia that, in this media climate, has been publishing major investigative stories in the public interest for 18 years. So far, we have exposed vote buying in elections, a minister’s fake diploma, abuses and illegalities around the EXPO project, how party money is spent, as well as numerous cases of corruption and the dysfunction of the system. We publish all of this in our stories, investigative podcasts and videos.

Our team consists of diligent and professional journalists, and our work process is highly thorough and based on the highest standards of the profession. Sometimes we work on stories for several months, read hundreds of pages of documents and verify every fact multiple times. We do all of this so citizens can be informed about the problems being hidden from them.

What we lack are resources. In order to preserve our independence, we cannot rely on public sources of funding, which is why support from citizens is crucial to us. We rely on people who believe that truth, accountability and the public interest belong in Serbia – and who are ready to help us preserve it.

By 1 October, we need 12,000 euros for:

  • New investigations conducted according to the highest standards of the profession, with fact-checking and legal screening.
  • Strategic paid advertising for greater visibility and reaching at least one million citizens.
  • Informing citizens through actions in public spaces.

Your donation via the link at this moment directly determines whether the next stories will see the light of day.

One-off donations mean a great deal to us, and we invite you to also consider a regular monthly donation, as they give us predictability and stability, while you become our regular donor.

Independent journalism in Serbia is not financed by the state, nor are there tycoons and corporations behind us. Our only strength comes from the people who trust us. They are our shield – and proof that there are still those who refuse to stay silent.

Thank you for joining us in defending truth and accountability in Serbia!
