Domestic violence in Serbia: lenient punishments, weekends out, and violence again

When in prison, convicts for domestic violence are granted downtown outings and weekends out. In the last two years, a number of them were released on probation; one of them is Milan Lovrić who killed his wife several months after leaving the prison. Lovrić had previously used his time out of the penitentiary to intimidate his wife.

Company belonging to Nenad Kovač thrown out of business in Denmark

Over the last ten years, companies belonging to Nenad Kovač, known under the nick-name Neša Roaming, concluded business operations with the state worth about 145 million EUR. Last year, one of them was thrown out of business as a subcontractor on a large project in Denmark, when it transpired that it had failed to act in line with the regulations relating to employees

Lies and attacks against journalists are unacceptable

By stating incorrect information and putting them in a wrong context, Dodik directly jeopardized safety of Jahić, other newsroom members, and their families
