The public area with the white tents of the so-called \u201c\u0106acilend\u201d has been closed to traffic for months, but as of November 2, it also became closed to citizens.<\/p>

This happened after Dijana Hrka<\/strong> \u2013 a mother whose son was killed in the canopy collapse in Novi Sad \u2013 came to the site to begin a hunger strike.<\/p>

According to her, the police did not allow her to pass toward the National Assembly<\/em> building, and throughout the day, citizens gathered in the area to show support.<\/p>

Shortly before 9 p.m., chaos erupted, and videos began circulating on social media showing an incident with rods, flares, and chairs being thrown from Pioneers Park toward the gathered citizens.<\/p>

Following the incident, Novak Nedi\u0107<\/strong>, the former Secretary General of the Government of Serbia<\/em>, and Milo\u0161 An\u0111i\u0107<\/strong>, until recently chief of staff to Prime Minister \u0110uro Macut<\/strong>, were spotted within the fenced-off area between Pioneers Park and the National Assembly<\/em>, CINS can reveal.<\/p>

They were moving behind a police cordon that was separating the citizens gathered in \u201c\u0106acilend\u201d from the protesters.<\/p>

A CINS journalist witnessed their movement, and the identities of these individuals were confirmed using artificial intelligence tools for facial recognition.<\/p>

Who Are Novak Nedi\u0107 and Milo\u0161 An\u0111i\u0107?<\/h2>

Novak Nedi\u0107 is the former Secretary General of the Government of Serbia<\/em>. He was appointed in 2014 and dismissed in April this year.<\/p>

The same month he was dismissed, Nedi\u0107 submitted a new asset and income declaration to the Anti-Corruption Agency<\/em>, stating that he was engaged by the General Secretariat of the Government<\/em> under a service contract, earning a fee of 20,000 RSD.<\/p>

He was previously a member of the Main<\/em> and Executive Boards of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)<\/em>. Until April this year, he also chaired the Supervisory Board of the state-owned Official Gazette<\/em> and was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Partizan football club<\/em>.<\/p>

In recent years, Nedi\u0107 has been linked in the media to Partizan<\/em> supporters from the group Janji\u010dari (\u201cJanissaries\u201d)<\/em>, which has since renamed itself Principi<\/em>. In 2022, NIN published a police memo alleging that Nedi\u0107 had prevented the arrest of those who vandalized the Komitet<\/em> club, including members of the Janji\u010dari group then led by Veljko Belivuk<\/strong>.<\/p>

According to Insajder<\/a>, the Military Trade Union of Serbia<\/em> filed a criminal complaint against Nedi\u0107 for the illegal use of a Serbian Army<\/em> shooting range. The complaint states that Nedi\u0107 and gendarmerie officer Nenad Vu\u010dkovi\u0107<\/strong>, along with Aleksandar Stankovi\u0107<\/strong> and Veljko Belivuk, used the army\u2019s range, weapons, and ammunition to practice shooting firearms. The investigation was never completed, Insajder<\/a> reported at the time.<\/p>

Milo\u0161 An\u0111i\u0107 also appears in the photographs.<\/p>

Until mid-September, he served as chief of staff to Prime Minister \u0110uro Macut. He took that position after working at the Ministry of Interior<\/em>, in the Department for International Cooperation.<\/p>

As a member of the Ministry of Interior, he was also involved in the National Coordination Body for the Prevention and Fight Against Terrorism.<\/p>

According to the Serbian Government\u2019s website, in 2021 and 2022, An\u0111i\u0107 received an award from the Russian state corporation Rosteh for his contribution to strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.<\/p>

The Ministry\u2019s website also states that in 2017, he was decorated with the French National Police Medal of Honor \u2013 Silver Echelon.<\/p>

How Was This Uncovered?<\/h2>

To confirm the identities of the individuals in question, CINS used artificial intelligence tools. Using CutOut.Pro<\/em>, the existing photos were sharpened and enhanced for clarity.<\/p>

Further facial analysis was conducted using PimEyes<\/em>, a facial recognition platform that locates online appearances of a given person.\u2028 After uploading the photograph, the search confirmed that the person in question was Novak Nedi\u0107.<\/p>
