Teodora is an investigative journalist who has distinguished herself by working on stories based on data. This was particularly pointed out by this year’s jury.<\/p>
“Teodora is a girl who deals with many important topics, in a highly professional manner and with great attention. She also knows her way around multimedia and large databases,” said Jelena Radivojevi\u0107, last year’s winner of this award.<\/p>
The award for daily journalism went to Milica Milosavljevi\u0107, a journalist from the Dnevnik editorial office at Radio Television of Serbia, who reports professionally on the migrant crisis, online crime and other social issues.<\/p>
The annual award for the best young journalists from Serbia under the age of 30 has been awarded by the Novi Sad School of Journalism every year since 2001 for exceptional continuous work, with the goal of promoting professionalism, critical thinking, knowledge, and ethics. Since 2018, the award has been named after Marina Kova\u010dev, a prominent young journalist and activist.<\/p>
This year’s jury consisted of last year’s laureates, journalist Jelena Radivojevi\u0107 of the Crime and Corruption Reporting Network, journalist Filip Luki\u0107, representative of the Marina Kova\u010dev Foundation Svetlana Bo\u0161kovi\u0107, associate professor Sini\u0161a Isakov and founder of the Novi Sad School of Journalism, Prof. Dubravka Vali\u0107 Nedeljkovi\u0107.<\/p>
